The Hydref- a Fall Festival & Market Faire

Saturday, October 6, 11am - 4pm

Rain or Shine - there will be plenty of hot homemade food and activities for everyone! See you there!

Traditionally the entire town and country side turned out for the annual Market Faire. You will meet skilled 18th c crafts people, re-enactors, and "sutlers", purveyors of 18th c goods. Enjoy entertainment, demonstrations, live music, great food and activities for the children - you will find it all here at the Hydref!

Hydref, which means "autumn", in Welsh, was named to commemorate the Welsh heritage of some of our early settlers. Help to make fresh cider, see wool dyeing & spinning, taste treats from the bake oven, get a delicious homemade lunch in the Tavern and shop at the 18th c craft vendors.

You will be glad you came to the Hydref!

Admission: $5/adult, $3/children, DLM Members free

For more information e-mail the Museum or call 412-486-0563 and leave a message.

We heartily welcome 18th century Vendors, Craftsmen & Blanket Traders to our events as well as modern purveyors of "homemade" foods.
